The NACDC has given business technical assistance; including marketing aid, financial
projections, business plan writing, and financing assistance to over 100 businesses.

and 20 two-bedroom apartments leased out on the second and third floors. The offices

This is a combination of new construction and major renovation of 15,000 square
feet of commercial space and 24 new quality, affordable apartments has been added
to the region since March 2007. Current businesses occupying this facility
include a state of the art hair salon, nail spa, boutique and a furniture showroom

E&M Citco
3708 W. North Avenue
NACDC assisted in the development of E & M Citco, located
at This project entailed (1) demolition of existing building, remediation of the
site, (2) construction of new building and gasoline pumps, and (3) creation of a
new business and new jobs. NACDC was able to assist the owner in attracting hundreds
of thousands of dollars of private capital. |

a clothing store occupying the first floor and we are in the process of leasing

commercial space. The renovation was completed in 2006. |

HeartLove Place *
3229 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
In 2000 phase 1 of over 26,000 square feet of new construction. This facility included
a daycare center, banquet facility and kitchen, classrooms, offices, a silk-screen
business, a stage for performing arts was built to support community functions.
